Apologies for being a day late on my newsletter, but we are very very busy this week.
Now you might cringe and think of 70’s chic when I mention the word Formica but has been making a huge come back in a very cool and contemporary way. We are using Formica in a couple of projects that we are working on at the moment and the possibilities are endless with this fantastic material.
Here are some great ways that you can introduce Formica into your home…..
This beautiful kitchen island is a mixture of Formica and Plywood. We think that this is real statement piece, and your neighbour definitely won’t have the same one.
This kitchen has a lovely mix of contemporary and rustic. The high gloss doors mix really well with the more rustic Formica and Plywood countertops.
Can you believe that this counter top (below) is Formica? This is a great way to introduce a cost effective marble look material but not compromise on the overall finish.
This one is not for the faint hearted, but any image can be printed onto the Formica. All you have to do is let your imagination run wild……
It can be quite difficult to get interesting and practical furniture that introduces colour. Formica is a great way to do this whether it is the entire unit or just on the doors. It is also a very robust material so you don’t have to worry about that.
The only negative with any of these options is that they are not really available to buy off the shelf. So if you are considering a bespoke unit or you would like to introduce Formica into your home, then just give us a buzz on 01 4370933 and we can help to point you in the right direction.
