So this week, I wanted to show you an exciting office project that we completed a few weeks ago. We were delighted when the ESB approached us to design an innovation space for their HQ on Fitzwilliam St. The space was designed to break away from the corporate environment, allowing its users to think creatively.
The concept involved exploring different types of energy through imagery and materials. Through this research we developed the space with key energy references, particularly wave energy and wind energy. This was achieved through the use of carpet tiles creating a sea and sand effect and digital wallcovering with wind turbine imagery.
The carpet tiles that we selected mimicked the appearance of the sea and sand, with a wave detail dividing the two. These tiles are 100% sustainable and are manufactured from recycled fishing nets, reclaimed from the South Pacific Sea. Pretty cool, don’t you think!!!!
We would love to hear your thoughts, so don’t be afraid to leave a comment or forward it onto a friend that you think might like it.
