We completed a full house renovation on a gorgeous Mews cottage last year and I just received the photographs from the photographer, so I thought I’d give you guys a look!
But just to try and give you a bit of a “wow” reveal…..
The rooms were dark and tired and really needed some TLC. The whole house needed to be gutted essentially and a full rewire and replumb with a new heating system were needed. It was a fantastic project to work on and we fully project managed the entire job.
Drum Roll Please……..
I wanted to create a mix in this house between old and new, so we sourced some vintage pieces to contrast with the clean, contemporary lines. The dining table is an original 1950’s teak dining table and I think it works really well with the contemporary chairs.
Again we used a mix of contemporary and vintage in the living room. We also used some Ikea pieces to keep the budget down. Can you spot them?
As we were using standard radiators, I wanted to hide them, as they are not the most attractive thing in a room. So I designed a selection of radiator covers, including the one above, which we had made by a local cabinet maker.
Our client wanted something very feminine in the master bedroom, so we used this gorgeous Cole and Son wallpaper as a backdrop and kept everything else very simple.
We also used a Cole and Son wallpaper in the Guest room, but added a few more quirky touches in here.
I think you will have to agree that this was huge transformation!
