So we have been crazy busy over the last few weeks and one of the projects that we have been working on is a restaurant in Temple Bar, which we will show you really soon. One of the aspects that I absolutely love in the new interior is the bar, which we cladded out in reclaimed floor boards and it looks amazing. So I thought that I would show you how you could introduce reclaimed wood in your home.
I love both of these kitchens, particularly the mix of the rustic reclaimed wood with more contemporary aspects. However, if you don’t want add it in such a permanent way, you could introduce reclaimed wood in your dining table.
These cool coffee tables would work great in both a contemporary or more traditional setting. The one on the right is my favourite.
How amazing is the headboard wall cladded out!!!!! We are loving it here in the office and cannot wait to use it in a project. If you don’t have the time or will to do this in real timber, there are fantastic imitation wallpapers, that look exactly like the real thing. You can check them out here.
If you don’t want to go the whole hog with an entire wall, then why not just go for a headboard or piece of furniture.
If you only want to add a touch of reclaimed timber into your home then why not add some artwork, or a cool plant wall to your garden. It could also make for a really interesting indoor herd garden.
So hopefully I have got you all thinking about using reclaimed wood in your home now.
However, if you are still feeling uninspired why not avail of our Open Studio and pop in for a coffee and a chat, with one of our designers. All you have to do is call 01 4370933 to make an appointment.
